Whatever time you wish to take a holiday at Alltybrain Farm there is always a stunning view of the Welsh countryside be enjoyed! In spring and summer there are scenes of sheep with their lambs in near by fields and in the distance the hills are covered in purple heather. During the autumn and winter months the fabulous change of leaf colour and then later frosts give the most spectacular views from the cottages. There is plenty of wild life to observe and foxes, hares and badgers seem to like taking a short cut back to their dens through the gardens. Hopefully not via the chicken and duck houses!

Damson Cottage is a pretty 200 year old Welsh stone cottage recently converted to a fully centrally heated holiday cottage with excellent accommodation for two people.

It is graded 5 Stars by The Welsh Assembly and is a quality 5 Star self-catering holiday cottage with The Welcome Cyclist and Welcome Walkers Certificates as well as The Green Dragon Environmental Level II Certificate. Damson Cottage is a 5 Star peaceful retreat in the idyllic Welsh countryside and is situated 4 miles from the town of Brecon near the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is a pretty little holiday cottage in Wales and is proving to be a very popular holiday cottage for two people wanting a peaceful holiday deep in the Welsh countryside.

Duck cottage is a recently converted 200 year old Welsh stone barn retaining many of its old features including a large oak beam complete with its wooden pegs for hanging the farmhorses' old leather harnesses. This Welsh holiday cottage has been restored to a very high standard, is fully central heated and offers excellent holiday accommodation for two people wishing to have a peaceful holiday in the stunning Welsh countryside.

Duck Cottage

Duck Cottage is a spacious flag stone ground floor cottage with fabulous views from every window and with double doors from both the sitting area and large bedroom which open out onto a sheltered sunny patio area. This Welsh holiday cottage near Brecon and The Brecon Beacons National Park should obtain a 5 Star Grading by The Welsh Assembly for 2008.

The Hayloft is a recently converted 200 year old stone barn offering a comfortable dormitory style accommodation for the more active and sporty type holidaymaker. The Hayloft has suitable accommodation for four people. This is ideal holiday accommodation for those wishing to

walk, canoe, go fishing, bring your own horse and use mountain bikes. Bed and full breakfast accommodation is offered with visitors sleeping in the Hayloft and coming over to the Farmhouse for Breakfast and Dinner. Horses are welcome with individual stabling for up to six horses. Mountain bikes have a secure place with a wash down facility and there is plenty of room for fishing rods and all sporting equipment and clothing. The Beacons Cycling Route, The Three Rivers Ride, The Radnor Forest Ride are all easily reached from Alltybrain Farm as are The Brecon Beacons National Park Visitors’ Centre and stretches of the Rivers Wye and Usk for fishing with the Wye and Usk Fishing Foundation.
